This easy little hike back to Badger Pond starts just around the bend from the Rendezvous Diner. While the trail can take you all the way into the Mount Baldy wilderness, the trip to Badger Pond is only about a half mile.

Be BearWise
Greer and the forest surrounding are home to tons of wildlife – including black bears and Mexican Grey Wolves. Count yourself as lucky if you see a wolf – they are elusive. Bears less so. The best defense when out hiking with your dog is to avoid any contact with bears. Heed this guidance.
